Raleigh is the capital of the state of North Carolina and is the seat of Wake County.  Because of its many big, beautiful oak trees, Raleigh is known as the “City of Oaks”  It is the 15th fastest growing city in the country and  boasts more than 380,000 residents.

Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill make up the Research Triangle and in 1959 the  Research Triangle Park was created noted for its advanced technology and research departments.

Raleigh is found within Wake County and Durham County an some of its primary suburbs include Cary, Garner, Wake Forest and Holly Springs.
